Tasty lightly popped popcorn from Bloom's.
Interestingly the popcorn started out light and airy at about.... 11 o'clock in the morning. By tea time the few remaining popped kernels were quite sticky, and the last remaining bits were determined to stick in the bowl rather than go into the rubbish! So in a few hours this popcorn really changed its texture. It wasn't even particularly hot today so I'm not sure how come that happened. Maybe it's simply the sugar that goes to make the "sweet" part of the flavour.
Slightly Red Haired Bristolian taste tester had never tried Sweet & Salty popcorn and was very dubious. But it turns out she liked it almost better than anyone.
Goodness...was it extremely humid there? haha.
ReplyDeleteI do love sweet and salty together!
Not really no. It's a bit of a mystery. Tasty though.
DeleteHi G.! I always need a nibble after visiting here. The linen you refer to has fantasy flowers I think. I like the color combo. I respect the work of old embroidery, but can't always relate to the combinations. Know what I mean? Happy Day!
ReplyDeleteOh dear do you?! That's unfortunate isn't it? Maybe try not to look unless it's your regular snack time.
DeleteThat's a pity. I thought it would be a really pretty plant for my garden. Well, it's a very fetching little item. Well done you for spotting it.
